The Coaches

Tyler Yeaton

Picture 018I am and always have been an athlete, so naturally the type of client I love to connect with, train with, and reach goals with has a passion for excellence in everything they do. To this client; every set matters, total focus on keeping excellent form on every rep matters, and pure efficient determination matters. I’m not a quitter when it gets tough and I try to instill that in every client I work with.

As you might have been able to tell, I love training. I can’t live without it. Just the way it makes my body feel with the amount of energy output I gain or just the simple satisfaction of not being able to do a single pull-up when I first started…to pumping out ten in a row now, no problem, is honestly an amazing feeling.

Goals are an awesome tool for each and every person, but how many people actually take that one first step? The first step is the hardest, just take it and see where it takes you. There’s always a starting point! Make it happen! Its our boot camp motto and it has great wisdom behind it, you have to make it happen.

My goal for every client I work with, is a greater, more noticeable fitness level. I love hearing clients stories of the little comments they get everyday from family, friends, even co-workers.
Come start your journey with us for a brighter fitness future, hope to see you soon!

Our Adrenaline Beast program is not for the faint of heart! We’re looking for highly committed clients who have set goals, and a mind set to reach them.

Unleash your  inner beast!

deancarlson1What makes a good physical preparation coach? A passion for helping people train, not only their bodies, but also their minds. A deep desire to help people break out of perceived limitations and achieve their goals, to help move them along the path from “I can’t” to “I DID!” A good coach does not try to motivate, but inspire one to find the drive within himself to do what he didn’t think was possible.

My journey into physical preparation coaching began after achieving for what many years I didn’t think was possible -getting healthy and fit again. You see I was thin in high school, too thin actually. I played sports through school and then my tour with the Army made sure my weight didn’t get too out of hand, even though I struggled even then to maintain standards.

After I left the service, my troubles really begin. Over a number of years I ballooned to 260+ pounds, was having challenges with my blood sugar, out of energy all the time; all the classic symptoms of being vastly overweight and unhealthy. When Nancy and I started having kids again, the realization hit me that if something didn’t change, they wouldn’t have dad around for very long. The result of this realization is a stronger, healthier, leaner and fitter me – 185 pounds and feeling great!

I now have the privilege of sharing my passion with others, from athletes striving for better on field performance to frustrated dieters who just want to get off the diet roller coaster. But my most important client, and the one who deserves to achieve all their goals, is you!

Nancy Carlson

Often the most challenging part of losing weight and staying fit is just getting started. Life is busy, and setting time aside to “work out” is just one more thing to add to the list. As a mom of six, with a high maintenance husband (see above), I have this challenge as well. Frankly, like most people I know, I am a work in progress. I believe this is part of what makes a good trainer – the ability to relate to clients and understand the need to integrate an exercise program into a busy lifestyle, without neglecting other responsibilities.

I can relate to late nights and early morning due to a baby in the house or a sick preschooler. I understand relaxing my food standards at the Fourth of July picnic and at Christmas. And I understand being mentally exhausted to the point that I don’t even want to THINK about training.

But I didn’t just throw up my hands and give up, and neither should you. It is not only possible to reach your fitness goals – it will happen! I am living proof. I may not be Mrs. Fitness USA yet, but I have reached goals that others said were just not possible after having six kids and crossing the big 4-0.
My passion is teaching and coaching others to think big and reach high. It takes work – hard work – but I am committed to helping you reach your fitness goals and get in the best shape of your life!
